The E-tec Interconnect ABG male contact system was develop as in certain cases, you are not able to place any test socket on your board because:

- Its density is too high
- It was not designed to accommodate a Test Socket
- The package dimension or layout have changed

The ABG Male contact Adapter System emulates the package footprint and is easily installed, using standard flux and reflow techniques, on your actual PCB and the Test Socket can be screw on top of this adapter.
